Welcome Message From Our Program Director
Thank you for your interest in the Aultman Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Program Coordinator Diane Little at Diane.Little@aultman.org or 330-363-6794.
The Aultman Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Our program curriculum includes a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services designed to provide a well-rounded orthopaedic education. The residents receive the majority of their training here at Aultman Hospital, but also complete rotations at Grant Medical, Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Summa Health Systems Akron City, Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites, LLC and Kettering Health Network / Grandview Medical Center. Many of our faculty are graduates of the program and are committed to providing the best orthopaedic surgery education possible. Aultman Hospital is a 1032-bed tertiary hospital that has recently expanded in the cardiac, emergency and obstetrical services and is a Reuter’s Top 100 hospital. We have achieved national recognition for our outstanding clinical care. We are a resident-friendly educational setting and seek to provide individualized resident educational goals while providing an outstanding overall education. We work closely with our colleagues and residents in Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Emergency Medicine and Cardiology fellows and participate in joint-teaching conferences. I look forward to discussing with you the educational opportunities our program has to offer. If you are interested in completing an audition rotation, please complete the Rotation Request Form found on the Audition Rotations tab, or contact Amanda Fouts. Best regards, Jeffrey M.
