About Us
Aultman's Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program is a five-year training program designed to produce highly trained, compassionate orthopaedic surgeons.
Sub-specialty Offerings
The program includes training in joint reconstruction, trauma, surgery of the spine, hand surgery, foot surgery, athletic injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, orthopaedic oncology, amputations and post-amputation care and outpatient clinical experience, as well as non-orthopaedic surgical skills, peri-operative care of surgical patients, musculoskeletal image interpretation, medical management of patients and airway management skills.
Community Involvement
The Aultman Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program participates in many community activities and events including annual sports physicals at Perry, Jackson and GlenOak high schools. The program also provides the team physician for Malone University's football team.
Research Opportunities
The program promotes an environment of inquiry and scholarship, and residents are encouraged to participate in research and scholarly activity at the Aultman Annual Resident and Fellow Research Day, as well as local, regional and national meetings.
